Plays too fast

When i play roms on the vgba, they play waaayy too fast.. in mario
advance its hard to control.. pokemon isnt that bad but i still cant
control it.

What phone/tablet are you running it on?
When you enable framerate display from settings, what framerate is it
showing?
You are not holding FFWD button by any chance, are you? =)
