Is it possible to uae any .sav files ir convert a .sav file to a

.SAV and .STA files have different functions and cannot be converted
into one another:

.SAV is an image of the battery-backed SRAM found on the cartridge,
where you save your game progress from inside the game.

.STA is a complete state of the emulation (CPU, RAM, video, etc) that
the emulator itself saves.

My emulators support *both* .SAV and .STA files. If you are using .SAV
though, you probably do not want to use .STA and the vice versa.

Of course. In fact, they are being saved at quit and loaded on startup.
