Born November 17, 1945, in Boissevain, VA, she was a daughter to the late Frank and Lena Farley Goodman. Linda worked as a CNA for Home Health and Hospice as well as being a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Lewis Riffe and wife Ann of Bluefield, WV; daughters, Melinda Miller, Stephanie Miller, and Candy Hood and husband Bobby Hood all of Bluefield, VA; grandchildren, Brittney Miller, Monique Delee, Jazzamine Miller, James Hood Jr., Kendall Novel, and Brittney Riffe; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Peggy Gregg of GA, and brother, Donnie Goodman and wife Sharon of Richlands, VA.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Larry Ramey officiating at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Bluewell, WV, with Paul West, Joseph Sages, Kenneth Dawson, Adam Goodman, Danny Gregg, and Dustin Gregg serving as pallbearers, honorary pallbearer will be James Hood Jr. A visitation will be held an hour prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
