Limited number of input micrographs in MICCTFDETERMINE or SEGMENT?

I have a small question:

It seems that I can use only a limited number of micrographs as input for micctfdetermine. I guess its about max. 500. Is there also a limitation for the number of segments? At the moment, my segment stack file has 9900 images. Will there be also a limitation, for example if I pick more particles in the future?

There is no principal limitation in the number of micrographs for SPRING. The GUI window does not take strings longer than a certain length of characters. Hence, there is an easy fix to this problem. You will need to enter a simple file prefix with wildcards, mymicrograph_???.mrc and mymicrograph_???.box
