There are in principle two ways how to run this:
1. If you have Spring and EMAN2 installed separately. You can call
% e2helixboxer.py
This is the most common setup for an EM lab as you may want to keep up with EMAN2's latest developments independent of Spring.
This failed in your case. Therefore the message below is relevant for you:
2. If Spring is your first EM package and you do not have EMAN2 installed separately you can run it by the included EMAN2:
% springenv e2helixboxer.py
Spring uses the underlying EMAN2/Sparx libraries for many EM processing functions.
