I am lovin' the new hi-res icons! With that in place, I honestly
cannot think of a single new feature that I would want added. It
literally has everything I want.

Great work Emsis, keep up the passion and the great work! This app
was more than worth the donation and the 5 star rating.

One feature I really miss is Disable Volume Buttons or Lock Volume !

Too often the vol is turned down simply by holding my device because the buttons are too sensitive. Vol lock would be perfect!

Cheers

Hi, David:
Didn't RingGuard work normally?

Good suggestion, thanks. But unfortunately RingGuard doesn't help.

When I accidentially hit the volume buttons I get interrupted but
first the volume slider and them the pop-up - and I need to wait for
it to dissappear or tap "No". But the problem is not to regain the
volume setting - that's easy enough - I just hold the vol up button.
No, the problem is I get disturbed/distracted from what I'm doing and
waste time on the unnecessary volume change.
RingGards even allows for a BEEP when the volme is changed which is
annoying too. Bare in mind I never intended to change the the volue in
the first place so anything happening is simply unwanted.

What I need to avoid any disturbance is 100% disabling of the volume
buttons. I don't need it since Volume Toggle has all the volume
profiles I need.

I haven't found an app that simply disables the volume buttons - or
perhaps required that I hold down menu to make them work or something
:)

Dear David:
Thanks for your support. I'm appreaciate.
That sounds great.
As I konw, the is no way to detect the volume button pressed, besides
checks the volumes in a timer.
If check the volumes in a timer, suppose it eats battery. Maybe there
was some applications did that and you can try to find them in Market.
If you can get better solution, please let me know and I would like to
dig more.
Thanks.^^"

Ah I see... hm yeah I can't figure out how the buttons could be
disabled then. Perhaps it requires some low-level configuration in
Android that apps can't normally do.

Sure I've been looking for some time now (also tried Tasker) but found
no solution :| I think I'll report it as a feature request in the
android issue tracker.
