Hi,

Glad to present my work! This talk is about porting projects to the web — whether it's hard or not, and how to estimate the effort. It focuses on porting with Emscripten (emcc). I believe many of you already know most of these things, but despite my poor pronunciation, the content should still be useful. I hope you enjoy it! Let me know if I made any mistakes.

Thank you!

Great video, thanks for sharing! Really nice to see the details of what ports easily and what doesn't, and the necessary work when things get hard. Also nice overview of the history.

About filesystem limitations on background threads, WasmFS fixes that - I wonder if you've tried it in your ports?

- Alon

Hi, not yet. While WasmFS was still in development, we implemented several internal filesystem tools that are in many ways similar to it. But we’re planning to switch to WasmFS very soon, and after that, I’ll be able to share my opinion.

Thanks a lot for the awesome product!
