The IHE North America Connectathon for 2024 will be in Oak Brook, Illinois, on February 19–23, 2024. For software vendors, this is your opportunity to test your ability to correctly implement standards-based data exchange using IHE profiles. Your software developers can sit side-by-side with data exchange partners and work out interoperability solutions at an accelerated pace. Vendors that pass testing are listed in the IHE Connectathon results database.

Additionally, IHE will hold a webinar this Thursday, December 8, at 10a CT, to share details about the Connectathon. I encourage EMS software vendors to participate in the Connectathon. It accelerates your interoperability work. It gives you a way to assure potential data exchange partners that you can adhere to the standards they use. And, when EMS software vendors are at the Connectathon table, it raises the visibility of EMS among other healthcare IT providers.
