On this call, we’ll focus on the patient discovery phase of the interoperability workflow, where EMS attempts to identify the patient and find a match in a health information exchange/network. We also want to discuss the scenario where the patient’s identity is unknown until after the encounter. We’ll have participants from ESO and CareEvolution sharing some information on that topic after we review the technical profiles with John Moehrke. We’ll also touch on progress made developing the ONC letter (which we worked on back in April) and on the HIMSS24 Interoperability Showcase.
As a reminder, there will be no task force call on December 14, due to the ONC Annual Meeting on December 14–15, including the EMS Data Summit 2.0 on December 15.
