The agenda for this call will be:
- Health Gorilla’s health information network
- Standards and profiles overview
We’ve heard from eHealth Exchange and Kno2 on past calls, and this time we’ll take a few minutes for Health Gorilla to give an overview of its network offering. All of these organizations have applied to be Qualified Health Information Networks (QHINs) under the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA).
For the standards and profiles overview, we’ll look at where to find IHE profiles, what’s in them, how to use them, and how they relate to HL7 and other standards.
Everyone who provided feedback after the June call said we need to spend more time on the interoperability workflow/sequence diagram. I think the “standards and profiles” topic on this month’s call will be a necessary foundation, and then in August we will return to the workflow/sequence diagram and start diving into the standards and profiles to be used in each portion of it.
