EMS Interoperability Task Force,
On the April 11 task force call, we’ll focus on identifying the information that is most important for hospital staff to receive from EMS as they transfer a patient to the hospital. Different hospital staff may have different needs—from the ED doc to the trauma registrar.
The hospital perspective is a bit of a blind spot for the NEMSIS community. If you work in a hospital, or you know someone who works in a hospital who could contribute their knowledge, please reply to this email and let me know. Prior to the April call, I would like to compile a list of information that’s important for the hospital to receive from EMS. Then we can discuss and refine the list during the April call. I would like to have hospital staff participate in the call with us.
