ONC Annual Meeting, EMS Data Summit, and HIMSS24

EMS Interoperability Task Force,
There will be no task force call on December 14, due to the ONC Annual Meeting on December 14–15, including the EMS Data Summit 2.0 on December 15. Both meetings are free of charge. At the EMS Data Summit, we’ll be identifying the next major steps that we need to take to increase EMS data interoperability with the rest of healthcare. If you plan on attending both the ONC Annual Meeting and the EMS Data Summit 2.0, please register for both meetings using the two links above. You can attend the EMS Data Summit either in person or virtually. Registration for the EMS Data Summit will close on December 6. We’re excited that over 200 people are registered at this point!
The HIMSS24 Global Conference is March 11–15 in Orlando. The more people from EMS who attend, the more we can raise the visibility of emergency medical services as a healthcare profession that needs to interoperate with the rest of healthcare. Early bird pricing for HIMSS24 ends on December 8.
Thanks for all your contributions to the EMS Interoperability Task Force this year as we’ve figured out the technical and other details needed for EMS to share data with other healthcare providers.
