EMR Data Use Workshop - Tanzania 9-11 December 2008

Hello,
My name is Sri (Enny) Handayani. I am CAREWare system implementer for HIV/AIDS treatment program in Nigeria. A couple of our users from Nigeria are very interested to join the meeting, and I think they will have a lot to contribute in this meeting from user perspective. With regard to that, I notice that there is a funding assistance description in online registration form. So my question is, to the meeting organizer I suppose:
What are the things that are expected to be in that description? Is it why (reasons) funding assistance is needed or types of funding assistance that are needed, such as flight, accommodation, etc?

Hello Mark,
I work for Makerere University Walter Reed Project, Kampala, Uganada
as Data Manager. We are in the process of implementing an EMR in
Kayunga District Hospital, I think I will gain a lot from this
workshop. I have however tried to register online but with little
success as I have not received any confirmation of registration.
Please advise.

Hi Mark,

 

I'm with the US DOD program in Nigeria and i guess we are in similar boats as to the EMR roll out.

 

Looking forward to seeing you in Tanzania.
