May I present two additional tracks - that may be of interest to you:
1. How can we capture comprehensive health data - based upon where people go for healthcare, health maintainance, health promotion and preventive care? The hospitals and clinics care for less than a third of people's healthcare needs. So any unique identifier for a person must be person or patient centric rather than institution-centric.
I would like to share some of our research findings in IMO State of Nigeria
2. The second area of interest is on EMR. We installed Lab Tracker (an Electronic Medical Record) at the Enugu State University Teaching Hospital. We decided to take the "pulse" of that effort. I would like to share the findings from our surveys in these areas: a. Change Management; b. Goals of the hospital, clinic, enterprise; c. Financing; d. Software Installation; e. Outcome; f. Patient Specific and g. Provider Specific.
I am looking forward to an enlightening discussion.
Thanks.
