I'm another user who doesn't get
the notification either.
However - it doesn't work at all. I click the icon...Thinking if I don't get the notification, at least I'm getting rid of the rubbish. However - after clicking (and expecting the trash folders to be empty) I check the folders, and deleted emails are still there..
