PlotFifteen-year-old Moira McKinnon had never seen the sea. She lived with her mother in the Scottish hills all her life and got to know every corner.
One day Moira receives a letter from her uncle Hamish. He asks his niece to go to his lighthouse on the coast. If she gets there before the solstice (i.e. within three days), a surprise awaits her. The heroine sets out on a long journey through the hills, full of hidden stories and memories told in songs.
