Emotional Literacy or rather lack of it is often a base for individual and community  dis-enpowerement and community conflicts.
Hague war court acquits Croat Generals ( see BBC News Europe for more)  caused comunities across Croatia to celebrate and across Serbia to riot, both reactions showing total lack of emotional lteracy on individual and national level... this is an extreme example, have you noticed  signes of this in your community work?
