Hi Brian
It really is learning to ' have a go' and not worry if you make a mistake LOL.
But you get an award as you were spot on all I had written was 1 and 2. no links although happy to add some if you would like.
Sound Therapy is a service ( private sadly) that I offer to anyone young and old who is struggling with life and learning.
I believe that there are many people who can hear but have an auditory processing disorder that is undiagnosed.
So the many children who get shouted at for not listening.....actually maybe can't.
I see parents who get blamed for not 'parenting' their child well enough. I see children with a diagnosis (dyslexia, add, badly behaved. poor speech etc) and boxed in who just get out of that box when they undertake the therapy. I see it as a practical therapy that helps with a stage to self empowerment. Basically if your ears, left and right, are not in balance and you don't have a dominant ear, then your auditory perceptions may be stuffed.
Hope this helps
I use Johansen Sound Therapy. CD's are especially made for the child's auditory needs
