Hello India,

If you are a voter in Kerala, Tamil Nadu or Puducherry (Pondicherry),
today is your opportunity to express your political views, elect the
candidate of your choice, and hold your representatives accountable.
Please go out and cast your vote today, April 13, 2011.

In Assam, 70% voters have cast their ballot in elections spread over
two phases (April 4 and 11). West Bengal assembly election will be
held over six phases (April 18, 23, 27, and May 3, 7, 10).

If you want to find out more about your candidates in your
constituency, please visit www.EmpoweringIndia.org
There are summary comparison of candidates in easy to view format.

For voters in Kerala and West Bengal, we have compiled brief biography
of candidates, primarily of the major coalitions in these two states.
This has been possible with the help of our network in these states.
We will greatly appreciate your inputs and help in compiling the bios
of candidates from other states too.

Another new feature this time, is a Constituency Profile page.
Citizens in every constituency are most welcome to share their
thoughts, and help build an active network of citizens.

A third new feature this time, is the "Locate your Constituency".
Following delimitation, many constituency boundaries have been
redrawn, and new constituencies created. Now, it is possible to search
by names of localities, villages and towns, and find the assembly
constituency where it falls. In addition, the polling station in the
area are also available.

hands with us for an active citizen's network.
