There is a total unanimity over the need to tackle corruption in the
country. The debate is over the most effective strategies to deal with
this problem. However, in a democratic system, discussion, debate and
dissent are all necessary part of that process.

Following are our contributions to the ongoing debate on corruption in
India. We hope these will enrich the discussions, on this important
