Believe it or not, yesterday's market (once the firehose-strength downpour let up) was a really great one! While sales were not sufficient to beat last year's record, they were above the five-year average. The post-deluge crowd found plenty of the great stuff they wanted, including the first SWEET CORN of the year! Yum!!!
Join us this coming Saturday morning at 8 a.m. for breakfast burritos to benefit the Emporia Rescue Mission and to pick up Farmers Market Gift Certificates for Fathers Day;
And again on Wednesday at 5 p.m. look for the homemade Root Beer - It's delicious! We'll be sure to do our Anti-Rain dance with more vigor this week! Tracey Graham Ph.D., Market Manager
