Dear Colleagues
Getting more people with mental health problems into employment is now
a must-do for the NHS and for social services. It is central to the
Government’s new mental health strategy and the NHS outcomes framework
for 2011/12.
Individual Placement and Support is by far the most successful way of
helping people with mental illness return to and stay in work!
Our Evidence Based Supported Employment conference is now only two
weeks away and we have limited spaces remaining.
The conference is an ideal opportunity to:
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of what ‘Individual Placement
with Support’ really is.
• Discover how to convince others that IPS is the best method for
supporting mental health sufferers into employment.
• Arm yourself with the facts - IPS is value for money!
• Find out about commissioning IPS services.
• Understand how to integrate Employment Support Workers into
Community Mental Health Teams.
• Hear how a NHS Foundation Trust and a not for profit organisation
are working together to offer IPS.
• Learn how to develop and improve your IPS services by using the
Fidelity Review Tool.
• Network with IPS experts and Centres of Excellence who have
successfully implemented IPS.
Spaces are restricted. If you would like one of the remaining places
please book now!
