to Employmentlist
Dear members

I write to give notice that I plan to close the Employmentlist on
31.03.13.

When we started many years ago the Employmentlist was an innovation
allowing disparate employment workers across the country to share
information and support and it was heavily used.
These days there are many e-networks that can link people effectively.
I'm pleased that the list has played its part in our joint work.

Best regards

Don Boyle

Hi Don -

An inevitable decision to come to I guess, but I'm not sure that anything has replaced the employmentlist, despite it not being used as much as it used to be. There just hasn't been as much to celebrate over the past couple of years, with my sense being that so much good work in the arena of mental health and employment - positive development wise - that happened over the last 15 years, has presently been wrecked or is fighting for survival.

Just wanted to thank you for initiating the employment list Don, I certainly found it invaluable for keeping in touch. If anyone IS aware of something similar, please post!

Best wishes
Dave Costello

Thanks David

The List basically runs itself: no great time or resources required. Its just not used now.

Regards
Don
