Hi

I'm a bit of a newb in the domain of trading (be it real, or
artificial like on Empire Ave).

I'd like to ensure I'm using the correct terminology in my app.

What is the noun that describes the Entity that I am trading on, when
I purchase or sell n shares in MARTYPITT? (Note - not the ticker,
which is the string that identifies this entity)

Is it an Instrument? Influencer? Stock? Share?

Thanks,

Marty

While "stock" may be correct, I believe "ticker" is your best option,
that's what most people use in chats and forums.
