Simple GET call for Share Price

We run a business-social network (ecademy.com, Our chairman is TEEP). On our member's profiles we currently show Peerindex and Klout scores. I'd like to be able to show a similar score or ranking for EmpireAvenue. Basically the same info as on the badges. To do this, I'd be looking for an API call that was unauthenticated, took a Ticker and returned the Stock price. We'd cache the data for a day so  I'd expect a few hundred to a few thousand of these calls per day.

Looking through the API docs I can't see anything like this. So is this a feature request?
