Facebook Signup

Hi Guys,

I'm the dev of the much neglected Empire Overlord Android app. Due to
a busy life the last fw months i haven't had time to maintain the app
but i want to do right by my users. The number one complaint at the
moment is the users that have signed up with facebook do not appear to
be bale to login to their accounts using the basic auth method?

Can you guys confirm this?

If they login through Facebook, then most likely they do not have a password setup. Direct them to http://www.empireavenue.com/user/password and have them set a password.

And that is the perfect answer from Eddie. We cannot pass login credentials to a third party from Facebook. This is not an accident, this is absolutely how the terms and facebook logins work :)

By the way Dups, is the 2.0 release of the API still on trace for a June release date? (And can that be anymore specific?) :)

Sigh, I wish being specific was something we could do, with our current resourcing we can only hope for the best ;) releasing a new API is never anything simple ;) All I can say is that so far this month at June 6th, we're still on track for JUNE sometime :P

Remember all the 1.0 queries will still work in *exactly* the same way, you will just need to modify the authorization.
