"Dublin" API Update Released

As of this morning, the API for Empire Avenue has been expanded by some 23 new calls, including 10 POST calls. Please take a look at http://apidocs.empireavenue.com for what has changed. 

The Post API

The POST API (including Buys and Sells), may have limits for various functions different from the hourly API limits. These limits also affect the web site. We are tracking the API use closely and abuse of the POST API will result in bans to both IP and application from Empire Avenue. We do have Developer Guidelines available along with the rest of our legal documents.

Support

We do not have a dedicated channel for support for the API at this time. The best option is to use the Google Groups Discussion mailing list for peer to peer support. 

Passwords and oAuth

At this time you can only use Basic Auth. Remember that storing passwords for users comes with consequences, you are responsible as is the user for trusting you with their credentials at this time. We will release an oAuth 2.0 implementation when it is ready.
