Empathy with spirits

So I've heard multiple times over the years about the possibility of bad things entering through the soles of your feet. I've been having excruciating pain in my feet for a week or 2 now and I'm wondering if anyone has any information on this type of thing or if it's even been heard of?

Technically, they can enter through several points (such as the back of your neck). However, as long as you were born into your body (as opposed to walking into it) and have not made any soul agreements, then you can just order whatever is in you to leave.
