Haygood road past Druid Hills HS will be closed

IF you know the Emory area, then you might be accustomed to taking this short cut from N. Decatur Rd down past Druid Hills High School in order to get on campus. DONT. It's closing. You probably ought to watch your GPS, too.

Haygood Drive from Andrews Circle at Druid Hills High School to Clifton Road will be closed the weekends of March 9 and 23 from:

• 7 p.m., Friday, March 9 through 6 a.m., Monday, March 12

• 7 p.m., Friday, March 23 through 5 a.m., Monday March 26

During this road closure a two-story bridge will be lifted into place to connect Emory’s new Health Sciences Research Building to the Emory-Children’s Center.

Emory shuttle service will not be affected. Access to Druid Hills High School, and to the Lowergate and Tower parking decks, will not be affected.
