1.  Will bunsen burners or equivalent BTU be available?

Yes - some flame source will be provided for the students. Anything on the list of things that the supervisor will provide will be provided for all teams.

2.  Will density solutions be given for polymers?

According to the rules, this is something that the supervisor "may" provide. However, density solutions are not on the list of items that students are allowed to bring (see part 2a of the 2012 rules sheet), so please do not tell your students to bring any differential density solutions.

Also, if possible Dr.McCormick, when you send out an email to all of the teams/coaches, could you tell them that if it is possible for their forensics teams arrive at the event  10 minutes before -- even if only one team member with the supplies is early -- that this would be a big help. This is to ensure that we will have time to check their items and cheat sheets and still make sure the event begins on time. Also, could you stress to the coaches that the rules will be strictly followed --from saftey requirements to scoring.
