Revo Uninstaller Pro has a 30-day free and fully functional trial period, during which you can use it without any restrictions. The trial period is automatically starting on the first installation of the program on a particular system.
If you decide to renew(extend) the update subscription period of Revo Uninstaller Pro, but it has not yet expired, the subscription period of the newly entered Serial Number will be added to the remaining days of your current update subscription period.
To activate Revo Uninstaller Pro online, you must first select that option in the Registration window (it is selected by default), and must have permissions to access the Internet, so it should be allowed in your firewall. To open the Registration/Update Subscription Form, and enter the Serial Number and your Name you have to:
Another way to open the registration window is to click the Register link, on the left of the Menu button . In the first field you need to enter a user name. The user name can be whatever you wish. In the second filed you need to enter your serial number.
After you have filled out both fields, click the Activate Online button. You will see a text in the registration window saying that Revo Uninstaller Pro is contacting its server for activation.
To activate or update a subscription of Revo Uninstaller Pro by file, first you must select that option from the Registration window. To open the Registration/Update Subscription Form, and enter the Serial Number and your Name you have to:
After you have filled out both fields, click the Save File button. This will bring up a window that will allow you to save a .rupaf file with a name and location of your choice. After you save the file, send it to us by e-mail (to regist...@revouninstaller.com), and we will send you back the Unlock Key, which you must in turn enter in the same registration form, and click the Activate button. After the activation is complete, restart Revo Uninstaller Pro to check the registration status in the title bar and the About window:
You will be prompted to confirm the operation, and then the deactivation will start. Note that the license deactivation requires an Internet connection. If you do not have an Internet connection, or your firewall blocks Revo Uninstaller Pro, the deactivation will be unsuccessful, and you will see a notification. In such a case, when you want to deactivate your license, but are unable to, please contact our support team for assistance. You can contact us via sup...@revouninstaller.com or regist...@revouninstaller.com with details of your purchase.
Deactivating your license will disable the installed copy of Revo Uninstaller Pro on the computer, on which you have deactivated your license. Should you choose to activate on the same computer again, instead of activating on a different computer, you can do that. You will receive a message when you start Revo Uninstaller Pro on that same computer that the license was deactivated, and you can simply activate again.

Then there were only (locked) links that redirected to the dropbox file locations. Because they were locked, I could not delete the links nor would it allow me to create new file folders with those names. To unlock, select the icon and select File > Get Info (or Cmd+I), click the box unlock and delete the link. The Mac will automatically create a new file folder (except it didn't do it for Desktop so I had to create that one manually)

Not having a good experience changing over from QB to 50
Installed and converted, chose ALL QB transactions and lists which goes back to 2006.
The result was that it only imported 2006 to 2009 after 6 hours.
Well, that is useless.
Tech help suggests deleting the company file and re-import.
Easy enough
However, after this file delete the program would get about 4 steps in and fail to go further.
After much screwing around I decided that Windows 101 scorched earth steps were needed.
I uninstalled 50 with revo uninstaller which does a deep clean, rebooted and reinstalled 50
Easy enough
Being a glutton for punishment I manually went into the files and registry and deleted anything sage, sage50, peachtree and actain, rebooted and tried again.
A lot fewer files to delete since in did not full install. Same fail. Cleaned and tried hours on end to no avail.
The only things I could not delete were my registration and activation numbers. Does the issue lay there?
The Only thing that changed between the first successful install and the subsequent reinstall failures is that windows did an update.
I don't know if this will work or not, but if the installation is hanging up at installing Actian Zen, you could try using the Sage 50 Database Repair Utility. You can download it from the knowledgebase here. It lets you uninstall or install Actian Zen. I've never used it to install Actian Zen when Sage 50 wasn't already installed, but it's worth trying. If it successfully installs Actian Zen, then try installing Sage 50 again.
Morning, Good idea to try.
I, like you suspected the problem is with Actian since that is the installation hang-up point.
Sadly and not unexpectedly the database repair is looking for Sage which failed to install.
However, your suggestion led me to seek out installing Actian by itself ahead of the Sage installation.
Section 2: Manually Reinstall Actian at the bottom of the page was the key.
I did not find SetupWorkgroup32_x86.exe in the main C drive to work.
I did find a copy in The Appdata temp folder. Clicked on it and it successfully installed Actian.
I rebooted just because, took a deep breath and attempted to install Sage50 once again.
It actually worked this time!
Yes, it is a solution. If you purchased from Sage or a CC, I am sharing that you that you have unlimited support. CALL them! 866-747-3888. Also I am also sharing that if you did not purchase from Sage or a Certified consultant and you do call Sage or a CC, they can resell you the program with support.
The automated data conversion processes between most accounting programs general aren't as smooth as people would like. Don't let that put you off of Sage 50. Sage 50 has good import tools. If all else fails you can import customers, vendors, etc. and set up beginning balances as of your conversion date.
Aren't as smooth is an understatement. I have imported everything for the second time somewhat successfully.
Again, it only brought in invoices from 2006-2009 which won't fly.
Lots of other issues, particularly a disastrously wrong inventory.
