Sure. You need to jailbreak it and install MobileTerminal (an application you'll find in Cydia for installation, once having jailbroken your iPhone).
MobileTerminal gives you access to the iPhones bash (shell).
To write decent shell scripts you would also need to install some shell utilities that you would expect to be there by default like vi, curl, openssh, ...
All of this is available in Cydia as well.
If you mean that you want to run shell commands on the iphone itself, you won't be able to do that without jailbreaking it first. Once jailbroken, there are many tools available for all kinds of "hacking".
As for the OsiriX Lite app build date shown in another reply, that vendor doesn't seem to directly post their current versions, but given the build date shown, that version is very likely current, or near enough to current not to matter.
Whether this shell script or this executable is some one-time setup procedure used by the app? As nobody around here has access to OsiriX Lite source code to review and confirm that, that's a guess. What might be derailing the (presumed) setup script, or executable ? I don't know. (f that JD-XR filename is the actual name of the file involved and if it's still around, maybe use Finder and Get Info and check the details of that.) It's also entirely possible that file is entirely unrelated to OsiriX Lite, and is output from some other issue with this Mac login and its shell environment configuration.
The shell stuff is a command interface for macOS and most other similar operating systems, and the chatter shown is normal for an older login in the current era; in the era as Apple is migrating folks from bash shell to zsh shell. You can ignore it. None of which is particularly relevant here.
I've noticed that high-level programmer-people will nowadays use the term "shell" to refer to the act of reverting to a command-line interface within the GUI -- in this case, using Terminal to input Unix commands to the computer, rather than relying on the more distant outer shell of the GUI itself. There isn't anything for it built in, but if you are jailbroken or can sideload apps (a.k.a., you have a mac with XCode), you can run a local terminal with apps like MobileTerminal, which aren't available on the app store.
To access a shell from a computer, if you are jailbroken (and possibly even if you aren't, if you can sideload apps) you can install openssh or openssh-server from Cydia (I believe it is just called "OpenSSH" in the GUI). Once that is running on your device, you can connect the device over USB and use this shell script I made called idb to access a shell, push and pull files, and so on. This sets up a USB link to relay TCP packets from the SSH server on the device, and then 'wraps' around SSH and SCP to perform the required tasks.
You'll have to compile a program to make it work called iproxy; this program relays TCP over the USB bus to allow ssh over a cable. The comments in the script I wrote explain how to do this (sorry... I plan to move it into README.md eventually).

One of the most common things you do when testing an app is accessing the device shell. In this section we'll see how to access the iOS shell both remotely from your host computer with/without a USB cable and locally from the device itself.
In contrast to Android where you can easily access the device shell using the adb tool, on iOS you only have the option to access the remote shell via SSH. This also means that your iOS device must be jailbroken in order to connect to its shell from your host computer. For this section we assume that you've properly jailbroken your device and have either Cydia (see screenshot below) or Sileo installed. In the rest of the guide we will reference to Cydia, but the same packages should be available in Sileo.
In order to enable SSH access to your iOS device you can install the OpenSSH package. Once installed, be sure to connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network and take a note of the device IP address, which you can find in the Settings -> Wi-Fi menu and tapping once on the info icon of the network you're connected to.
