For those of you that are offering an online option this year whether it be PLP or something else, did you enter all new courses, or did you just enter additional sections of your courses that are already taught face to face in school?

 

Can you let me know which you did and why you chose the way you are doing this?

We just added a section to the existing courses.  We used an EMIS exception to show that the section was an online option.

It was up to our building administrators how they approached their schedules and what worked best for their buildings.

PK-5 Students are scheduled with their teachers as planned, but may have had a different teacher in charge of online instruction if they are learning remotely.

6-8 Teachers are teaching all their students regardless of format.  Online students are assigned to a different section.

9-12  Teachers are teaching all of their students regardless of format.  Online students are assigned to the same classes and sections as in-person learners.
