We are here because we want to find a cure. We want future generations
to have a better life. We want the people we love to know how much we
love them. We believe; in hope, in health, and in the power that a
group of people this large can create.
It is hard to generalize the individuals who define the Revlon Run/
Walk For Women. They come from different generations, organizations
and communities -- and they participate for reasons just as diverse as
their backgrounds. It is not often in life when so many different
inspirations culminate in the same response. On Saturday May 5, 2007,
40,000 men, women, and children will unite with a common desire -- the
desire to find a cure!
For the last decade, the Revlon Run/Walk For Women has been raising
critically-needed funds to support cancer treatment and research.
Since its inception, the Revlon Run/Walk For Women has distributed
nearly 40 million dollars dedicated to the fight against women's
cancers. The 10th Anniversary of the Revlon Run/Walk For Women is an
inspiring reminder of the progress and dedication of so many
individuals to the ongoing fight. Each year, we get closer and closer
to the ultimate finish line, eradicating women's cancers. We are
trying to break our record, and we hope that you too will set your
personal fundraising goals higher than ever in this landmark year!
