May be a trivial question. How would I refer a relative URL as
hyperlink, while editing a Wiki page.

I could launch my emforge portal by typing any of the following in
browser address bar.

1) http://localhost:9191/emforge
2) http://<MY IP ADDRESS>:9191/emforge
3) http://<HOSTNAME>:9191/emforge
4) http://<HOSTNAME.DOMAINNAME.COM>:9191/emforge

In the Main wiki page, I would like to provide a hyperlink to another
wiki page (Like for example, a link to MailingLists page). If I give
absolute URL (like http://localhost:9191/wiki/MailingLists) as
hyperlink, then my session is lost when I navigate to target page. To
avoid that, I would like to use relative URL as hyperlink (Example: /
wiki/MailingLists). But I dont know how to do it.

Any suggestions/help appreciated.

Thanks
Kalyan

Hi!

As you probably found - EmForge has 2 editors to edit wiki-pages - plain text wiki (then you enter wiki text in wiki-format) and WYSIWIG editor. I do not recommend to use wysiwig, since it is incorrectly working with links (it is always created full links with domain name included).

So, in case you are using plain-text editor - just enter some text like:
This is link to [Another Page]

Then you will save this text - you will see - Another Page is a link. Since page is not created - it will be a link to "Create Page" window. As soon as you will create link - it will be normal link to the wiki.

More details about wiki-format you can find at http://www.emforge.org/wiki/TextFormattingRules
For example - checks http://www.emforge.org/wiki/TextFormattingRules#section-TextFormattingRules-LinkingAround to read more about links
