Hi all, I apologize for my English , it's English translator with some
corrections:

I wanted to tell them an idea : make a xmpp client to use in the browser.
This is my opinion of why I think that would be good :

Today, many of us have used to using many applications from the browser, for example I use the mail client , RSS reader and irc client
from the browser.

However with the passage of time and the facts I have learned that the cloud is not a good long-term solution , so lately I have been looking for alternatives to self hosting with free licenses. Alternatives such as :

For mail clients have rainloop , roundcube and futureI hope mailpile

To use irc on multiple networks simultaneously as there are programs relay.js subway or waartaa

Feed Readers would a very long list of good alternatives thanks to google :/

However for xmpp no what I would call good client:

There are many clients that emulate the facebook chat bar, which for some cases is very good, but if we have has many contacts in
various networks (example facebook google talk and a good xmpp server ) are extremely uncomfortable because often carry a single network.

Many other clients have tried to create a social network, which does not bad. But chat with them is uncomfortable because their focus is on other things
Even worse a few require own xmpp server!

Others specialize in MUC, something that this might very good, but I prefer the irc for such cases.

In my opinion it is obvious that the world needs at least one good FLOSS xmpp client for the browser.

A client:

*Uncomplicated to be installed
*Support for multiple connections
*Support for transports (gateways)

What do you think?

Hola a todos, les pido disculpas por mi ingles, es ingles de traductor con algunas correcciones:

Les escribo para comentarles una idea: convertir emesene en un cliente
xmpp para usarlo desde el navegador.  A continuación les dejo mi
opinión de por que considero que
seria bueno:

Hoy en día, muchos nos hemos acostumbrados a usar muchas aplicaciones
desde el navegador, yo por ejemplo uso el cliente de correo, el lector
de rss y el cliente de irc desde el navegador.

Sin embargo  con el  paso del tiempo y los hechos he aprendido que la
nube no es una buena solución a largo plazo, por ello en los últimos
tiempos he ido buscando  alternativas auto hosteables con licencias
libres . Alternativas como:

Para clientes de correo tenemos rainloop, roundcube y en el futuro
 espero que mailpile

Para usar el irc en varias redes simultaneamente hay programas como
subway relay.js o waartaa

Para lectores de feed seria muy largo escribir una buena lista de
buenas alternativas gracias a google :/

Sin embargo para xmpp no hay lo que yo podría llamar buenos cliente:

Hay muchos clientes que emulan la barra de chat de facebook, lo cual
para algunos casos esta muy bien,  pero si unoposee muchos contactos
en varias redes es sumamente incomodo ya que
solo suelen soportar una red.

Muchos otros clientes han intentado crear una red social, lo cual no
malo. Pero el chatear con ellos resulta incomodo ya que su foco esta
en otras cosas
¡Peor aun algunos precisan
un servidor propio!

Otros clientes se especializan en MUC, algo que puede que este muy
bueno, pero prefiero el irc para esos casos.

Para mi es evidente que el mundo necesita al menos un cliente FLOSS de
xmpp para el navegador.

Un cliente:
Sin demasiadas complicaciones para ser instalados
Soporte para varias conexiones
Soporte para transportes  (pasarelas)

 ¿Que opinan ustedes?
