GIT: facebook doesn't even try to conect

I try to conect to facebook but there is no reaction when hitting "connect"

btw, since msn will be desactivated in 2013, what is the future of emesene? It could focus on facebook

did you try to start emesene from terminal?

I found something:

instaling pyasn1 and pyasn1_modules didn't help

Facebook server refused your connection, make sure You are using the right username for login (us...@chat.facebook.com)

thanks, couldn't find the right way to put the username before, I had put only "user" before.

now at least I got a "autentication failed" message in the gui.

terminal still reports this:

I've instaled all pyasn1 packages I found:

1 extra/python-pyasn1 0.1.4-1 [installed]

    ASN.1 library for Python 3

2 extra/python2-pyasn1 0.1.4-1 [installed]

    ASN.1 library for Python 2

3 aur/python-pyasn1-modules 0.0.3-1 [installed] (2)

I'm using Arch Linux

Make sure your Facebook account is chat enabled here: https://www.facebook.com/sitetour/chat.php

In that page you will also find the right username to use

The ssl cert error reported are normal since we aren't using SSL cert validation
