Next Dads Group Breakfast is this Friday, January 19!

Attention Emerson Dads (and Moms, Grandparents, Significant Others and Any Adult who would like to spend more time with their student at Emerson)!

The next Dads Group Family Breakfast of the 2017-2018 school year is this coming Friday, January 19th.  We'll take refuge in the auditorium if it's too cold outside.  Setup is at 7:30 am, breakfast is served at 7:45 am, and we will be wrapped up when it is time for our students to go to class at 8:30 am. Please join us for a pot luck breakfast with other Emerson families followed by some information sharing and other activities, including:

• Information from our Principal, Mrs. Kaitz (schedule permitting);
  
• Updates from the Emerson community and the PTA/Boosters; and
  
• New and exciting game (assuming I can think of one)
  

Please RSVP if you get a chance by responding to this e-mail with the breakfast food of your choice that you would like to bring and share so we have an idea of what's coming (but don't shy away just because you didn't get a chance to RSVP).  Pastries, fruit, juice, milk and coffee are a few popular examples (bonus points for hot food)!  Also, please feel free to share this invitation with others that you think may be interested but aren't included on this distribution (especially new Emerson families).  You've got to eat breakfast anyway so why not do it at school!  Spread the word!

We'll bring some little muffins and some milk.  Grandpa will bring coffee.

P.S. Please no parking in the teachers' parking lot or in any of the loading areas on Cypress or Kenneth.  I know traffic is always tough on these days so please plan to arrive early.

Dads Group:

Just a quick reminder about tomorrow morning's breakfast at 7:45 am.  We'll be at the lower lunch shelter if it's nice out or in the auditorium if it's a bit chilly.  If you don't get a chance to RSVP, that's ok.  Just grab something to share and we'll see you there.  I may have to be at work early so may not be able to make it, but the show will go on. 

Also please remember to give yourself plenty of time as parking can be tricky.  Please don't park in the teachers' parking lot or any of the prohibited areas on Cypress or Kenneth.
