Next Dads Group Breakfast is this Friday (1/20)!

Attention Emerson Dads (and Moms, Grandparents, Significant Others and Any Adult who would like to spend more time with their student at Emerson)!

The next Dads Group Family Breakfast of the 2016-2017 school year is this coming Friday, January 20th.  Setup is at 7:30 am, breakfast is served at 7:45 am, and we will be wrapped up when it is time for our students to go to class at 8:30 am. PLEASE NOTE that the forecast calls for rain.  If it's wet at our normal spot outside WE'LL MOVE INTO THE AUDITORIUM, which means we'll need to be extra careful of our cleanliness!!

Please join us for a pot luck breakfast with other Emerson families followed by some information sharing and other activities, including:

• Information from our Principal, Mrs. Kaitz (schedule permitting);
  
• Updates from the Emerson community and the PTA;
  
• New and exciting game (assuming I can think of one); and
  
  

If you get a chance, RSVP with what you are bringing so we can build up some excitement, but don't shy away just because you didn't get a chance to RSVP.  Pastries, fruit, juice and milk are a few popular examples of things to bring (bonus points for hot food)!  Also, please feel free to share this invitation with others that you think may be interested but aren't included on this distribution (especially new Emerson families).  We've had amazing participation recently, let's keep it going!!  You've got to eat breakfast anyway so why not do it at school!  Spread the word!

We'll bring some little muffins and some milk.  Grandpa will bring some coffee.

Just a quick reminder about tomorrow's breakfast.  Don't let the rain scare you away as we'll be taking shelter in the auditorium (which means we need to be extra neat).  If you get a chance, please RSVP, but don't shy away if you aren't able to RSVP.  Everyone is welcome.  Just grab something to share and we'll see you at 7:45.
