Touch in... as to where we are at....

Hey Ya All.......

sorry it's taken so long to send a shout out as to where we are at on the Moving thing....I guess the one thing i would say first and foremost... is WE sooo appreciate all the Love and Prayers that are and have been flowing.... 

It's been rather full on -  from the LOOOOONGGGGGGGGGGGG Drive..... then the Landing... waiting for the BIG Truck.... unpacking... sorting thru what we need NOW and what can stay boxed....   (we couldn't find our phone for a while... but we didn't have Phone, Cable or NET - till the other day.!!!) and of course the window for that was having to STAY in the house and wait from 1-5 till the guy showed up.. which OF COURSE was around 5pm....  just so figures.... LOL.

As most of you know.. and incase you didn't... we have a 3 month lease in this house... and we thought it had a 2 car garage.. to put our stuff... but they converted it into 3 small bedrooms... so getting some of the furniture in was more than a task.... 

(thank you PAUL, TRISTIAN & Mellisa for your help!)  so to give you the picture... we have a small living room that fits "the God chair"- and a couch and TV... sorta like a mini theater .... the kitchen is bigger... i think they were thinking it's an all purpose room.. so we have the big couch there!  Table..... and stuff.... 

The bedroom is upstairs... and fits our bed and the 2 lil end tables... Had to laugh a bit... cuz ummmm we had to put the other furniture in one of the small bedrooms and boxes in the other....   it's rather cute.. and the stuff is new - fridge-oven ect.... 

We had to fill out like a 30 page lease.... which was daunting... and pay 3 months rent up front....          

So we are hoping to get jobs in place and buy a house quickly... or else our rent doubles... (college thing- town... so they want to make the bucks)  All in All... things are fine... just lots of odds and ends to do... and getting acquainted with roads and where-abouts of things....    We've set up pretty quickly .. but that took a few days of just going at it rather hard.... but that was important to set up that quick so the rest isn't so chaotic.   Hence, i haven't been that good at communicating to ya all ... as to where we are at..... Derek and Amy were laughing at how quick we did things... but FUNCTIONAL is important... 

Things are flowing... but there still is a lot to do.... and could use some prayer on that...yesterday i just sorta crashed.. not in a bad way... but felt like i just couldn't do anymore and needed a vegetative state to JUST BE.... so i sat in front of the boob tube and and watched the Soprano's!  Had to laugh cuz they mentioned my hometown of Bloomfield at least 4 times... so i was chuckling ------

Phil is doing well and flowing in it too... which is nice to see him embrace things and even get a bit tickled at some of the Adventure of it all.  We function pretty well as a team in getting things done... and just being sensitive to the transition aspects of it...

It's been nice to hang with DnA & Paul...... feeling the welcome and just the love aspects of friendship....   but that also hits that spot in my heart of missing you guys "who ain't here"!   

Ok.. i have to do a TEST thingy on line for my license to work as a PTA- so have to read 70 pages plus.... of rules and regs.... Finally feel like i can look at that w/o feeling overwhelmed.   Kinda funny about tests and studies... it used to be when i was in school that the house had to be all neat and tidy or i couldn't concentrate cuz the "to do list" would keep popping up in my head..... so needed the clearing to even think about addressing that part!

so that's kinda where it's at..... 

Prayer list - cover spaces would be....

1) jobs (phil's employer Sally's doesn't have a full time opening so it means he might have to do a split of 2 stores... but it would be nice just to have one spot to cut down on time and travel. 

For me.. i'm looking at PRN (as needed) - possibly in a few different settings at first...but who knows... just looking for a "right fit" with the hours i need ect...

2) getting a lender to buy a house

3) Finding the right space.... close enough in to feel present... but far enough out not to cost a flippin fortune! We'd like to say within 20 min or so of the city....  but Phil is a Land person.. so getting a place with .5 on land space... would be nice- and trees would really be nice.

4) overall nitty gritty of things.. like drivers license... insurance... finding an MD... ect... to flow easy ....  (things have been kinda hard enough this past year)

5) finding our "nitch" so to speak.... 

I'm sure there are more bases to cover on the prayer thing... but that is the loose frame... So if any of ya all gets that nudge to pray..... PLEASE do... we could sure use it.
