Church Basement Roadshow June 13-15th LA & SD

In case you haven't heard yet, this summer Tony Jones, Doug Pagitt,
and Mark Scandrette are going to hop in an RV and drive around the
country on "The Church Basement Church Roadshow".

The first two stops are going to be happening in LA June 13th/14th and
the 3rd/4th down in San Diego June 15th.

This should be an amazing opprotunity to not only connect with other
memebers of EmergentSoCal, but it is a great on-ramp for those who may
be curious about Emergent or are having similar questions about what
it means to be a Christian in a Postmodern context.

At this point we just want to get the word out to many of you. We
will have an official press release soon.

Hopefully you can get excited about this event and start spreading the
word about it.

The LAST thing we want for this is for it to be about "a book tour" or
about "these guys", we most importantly want to see this as an
opprotunity to connect people together while hearing about Jesus and
the church.

The Roadshow will be at the Mission Gathering in the
morning for their worship time - kind of just for
their church

and At Christ Lutheran Church in Pacific Beach
(christpb.org) Sunday evening at 7:00.
