Greetings from North San Diego County: Escondido. I am a divorced mom,
43, with three grown children who has not been to church in a year,
and been reading online about the Emergent Church. Please assist in
finding me a Cohort group that believes in the Power of God, etc...
This is a little of my confusion in knowing which 'denomination' fits
which group?

I haven't really been keeping track of much that's going on in the
Emergent world, but the one church that I know of down your direction
(about 30 min away) is Mission Gathering Church. http://www.missiongathering.com/
My friend Alex works there, you'll find him on sun mornings playing
the keyboards in the band.
