WEBINAR INVITATION
COVID-19 and WASH:
What We Know and What's Next
Thursday, March 11, 9 a.m.–10:30 a.m. EST
Water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) is intricately connected to the COVID-19 pandemic. While WASH is essential for both prevention and recovery, the impacts of COVID-19 have created new challenges to accessing these services. Ensuring global water security in this new reality will require a clear understanding of how of COVID-19 is changing the global WASH landscape and how the WASH sector can best adapt to these changes.

This event will present new findings from USAID’s research on the impacts of COVID-19 on WASH across seven countries and provide additional perspectives and findings from donors, advocates, and experts in the field. Presenters will share reflections on the impacts of COVID-19 on WASH services and how those insights can help shape future approaches to support a water secure world.

The event will feature representatives from:
  • WaterAid
  • The World Bank
  • UNICEF
  • USAID
