Dear all Heads of clinical departments,

Muhimbili National Hospital is planning to have its First Scientific Forum in May 2016. The theme of this forum is  

"DOUBLE BURDEN OF COMMUNICABLE AND NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES IN TANZANIA: HEALTHCARE CHALLANGES AND OPPORTUNITIES"

The idea is to discuss how the interaction of communicable and non-communicable diseases influence one another and the impact they have in the whole spectrum of care, from care of an individual patient to health care financing; so that we can come up with plausible solutions and suggestions for our hospital and for the Nation. 

Your department is requested to identify two topics and prepare abstracts of not more than 250 words to be considered for oral or poster presentations.

The abstract should reflect the above theme; original research, clinical cases and literature review are all welcome; presentation of local data is highly encouraged.

Please submit abstract electronically to faraja....@mnh.or.tz not later than 1st April 2016.

We count on you to encourage staff in your respective departments to take part in this important proffesional forum.

More details on the program will be made availlable to you on regular basis.
