Dear All,

 

I refer to the two ( 2 ) lying in Port Dar for the past two years. These containers have been consigned to Ministry Of Health. A large number of items, over 70%, are medical supplies which Muhimbili National Hospital would be able to make use, The expiry life shelf goes beyond 2017.

 

I have a plan to meet with Shipping Line and ICD representatives with  MSD to waive the shipping line charges or container demur-rages. Would MNH be willing to pay balance of the Clearing and Forwarding charges and take possession of the containers. Executive Director Prof Lawrence Museru  spoke positively at our meeting on 2 February, 2016 in the Mini Board Room.
