converting .phc file to .pes

Saved a file on my Brother 4500D machine to a flash drive.  When I tried to open in Embird, I cannot convert to .pes format.  I get error message that file is corrupted or not a embroidery file.  What am I doing wrong.

Jan,

Are these Disney designs because you cannot take these off the Brother machines and change them in any way.? They are what they are.
