I embroider on 2.5" polypropylene fabric. It's only 30mm wide so my designs are relatively small which causes havoc with more detailed designs. I found that because of the type of fabric, I don't need any of the column stitches, just the fill stitches. What I do now is manually advance my stitches on my machine to where the fill stitches begin. However, I can't always get it perfect. I would prefer to have an absolute minimum amount of column stitches or completely remove them altogether in the design before it's on my machine. Is this possible? I've tried raising the column density in the design after I have compiled it but I find this alters the design in other ways - they typically are less detailed afterwards.
