I am trying to find how to edit or move the starting and ending nodes
on a design. On the design when the needle moves to next part of
design it starts on the far side of that part. I want to move the
starting node to a node closer to the previous item, and then move the
ending node close to the next item. Can't find how to change the
starting and ending nodes.
Thanks for any help.

Select your node and right click. Look down the list for make end node (or
whatever it says about end node.

If you don't have Studio, I don't think you can do this. You also need
Studio's .eof file, not the embroidery machine design file (.pes
e.g.).
Studio has a tutorial "How to digitize a logo" which explains
Starting and Ending Nodes right below Fig. 8.

Hi Keith,

When in Edit mode right mouse click on a square node where you want either the start or end point to be and choose either Place start point here or Place Finish Point here. (or similar)
There are a lot of options available in Studio when right or left clicking.

Best of luck

Kind regards
Carolyn
