Hi - 

Can anyone easily explain how to split a large design? 

I have many awesome designs that are huge, my biggest hoop is 14", how do I go about splitting a 18 or 20" design to make it fit my hoop?

Dear Nancy, you might already have found an answer but on the embird site you find on the top a topic called training, text tutorials. In Embird editor, you’ll be able to find a topic called splitting a file. There are several ways explained, after hoop size, change of collor,after a stitch and so on. Easy to understand. Just give it a try. I think I remember you can also search on it on YouTube. Splitting a design Embird. Good luck
