I just have the free program but I know there is a grid setting where you can turn it on and off... the little grid icon on the far right opens the side panel where you can choose to show it, color, type of grid, etc.

Hi Bonnie,

 

Under Edit > Preferences, go to the Grid Tab. Try setting the grid to 5mm with sub-divisions of 1mm. If you set the initial grid smaller, the lines won’t show up unless you zoom WAY in.
